Crude oil imports hit 2.39m MT across Lagos ports in August

Crude oil remained the leading commodity imported through Lagos ports in August, with a total volume of 2,392,354 metric tonnes recorded. Data showed that 1,867,712 metric tonnes arrived at the Lekki Deep Sea Port in the first week, while another 524,742 metric tonnes was expected at the Lagos Apapa Quays. Bulk wheat followed with 321,849 metric tons, indicating a boost in the confectionery industry.
