Parents and students of King's College, Lagos, have rejected the Federal Government's proposed concession of the 117-year-old institution to the King's College Old Boys Association. They have threatened to challenge the plan in court and disrupt the resumption of the next academic session. Hundreds of parents and students staged a peaceful protest on Thursday on major roads in Lagos. The stakeholders argue that the concession would negatively affect the school's legacy and quality of education.
