Four Nigerian professional golfers—Sunday Olapade, Solomon Ideria, Tajudeen Ajayi, and Godwin Okoko—have arrived in Kampala for the Uganda Open. They have been competing on the Sunshine Development Tour since June, gaining experience and world ranking points. Their participation follows qualifiers held in Lagos, which provided a pathway for Nigerian professionals. The initiative addresses the limited competitive opportunities in Nigeria.
