UNICEF has renovated three Primary Health Care (PHC) facilities in Daura, Batagarawa, and Funtua Local Government Areas of Katsina State. The facilities include the Maternal and Child Health Centre in Bakiyawa, Sabon Gari Primary Health Centre, and Dandutse Primary Health Centre. The renovations were carried out under the Global Fund. UNICEF's Health Manager, Dr. Serekeberehan Seyoum, urged sustained investment in healthcare and called on the state government to ensure adequate staffing and essential medicines.
