Ohanaeze Ndigbo has commended President Bola Tinubu for his intervention on the Benin–Agbor–Asaba Expressway. The body acknowledged the hardship faced by motorists due to the road's condition. In a statement, Deputy President General Okechukwu Isiguzoro called for patience and confidence in the federal government's efforts. Ohanaeze also appreciated the Minister of Works, Senator Dave Umahi, for his role.
