Disu Deploys Rescue Team to Borgu After Abduction, Catholic Bishops Decry Attacks

Inspector General of Police Tunji Disu has deployed a rescue team to Niger State following the abduction of people in Borgu Local Government Area. The team is headed by Assistant Inspector General Victor Olaiya and includes state tactical teams, counter-terrorism units, and the DSS. The Commissioner for Homeland Security, Maurice Magaji, said the government has provided logistics for the operation. The situation room is coordinating efforts to address the incident.
