The traditional ruler of Igbesi community in Isin Local Government Area of Kwara State, Oba Moses Oyinloye Iwedunmoye I, has regained his freedom after being abducted by suspected bandits for about five days. His release was confirmed by a family source who spoke to THISDAY in Ilorin, stating that no ransom was paid. The monarch was kidnapped when suspected bandits invaded Igbesi town, which is in the Kwara South senatorial district. The incident occurred despite the recent establishment of an Army battalion in Omu-Aran town in the state.
