The suspected thugs, allegedly from the Speaker's constituency, moved from office to office without a clear purpose, causing concern among lawmakers and staff. A staff member, speaking anonymously, said the situation was brought under control after the intervention of a lawmaker, Olajide Oguntodu, and security agencies. The incident occurred against the backdrop of deepening political crisis in the assembly.
