The Muslim Engineers Association (TMEA) has urged engineers to prioritise professional competence, accountability, and public safety over personal interests. The National President, Engr. Gbadegesin Osuolale, gave the charge at the inauguration of the association's pioneer National Executive Council in Lagos, under the theme 'Engineering Excellence, Ethical Leadership and Service to Humanity Through Islamic Values.' He warned that unethical practices could undermine public trust and endanger lives, and emphasised that engineering is a profession founded on public trust.
