Uganda's Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja stated that compensation for traders affected by Nakivubo floods has been delayed due to conflicting beneficiary lists. Different agencies submitted varying lists, preventing the government from releasing funds. The government is working to harmonize the lists to proceed with compensation.
