‎2027: Atiku Vows To Reopen Land Borders if elected

Former Vice President and presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Atiku Abubakar, has pledged to reopen Nigeria's land borders if elected in the 2027 general elections. Atiku made the promise in a video shared by ADC chieftain Dele Momodu, saying reopening borders would revive transborder trade and create economic opportunities for young Nigerians. He argued that border restrictions have disrupted legitimate businesses and left many young traders unemployed. Atiku emphasized that transborder trade is a legitimate business that should be supported.
