Norway's King Harald V has died at the age of 89. The Norwegian royal palace announced that he passed away peacefully at 06:35 local time on Friday at the national hospital in Oslo, following hospitalization for a rare blood condition. In accordance with protocol, the royal flag on the palace roof has been lowered to half-mast.
