President Bola Tinubu has ordered a comprehensive reform of Nigerian football following the resignation of Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau as president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF). The directive aims to address repeated failures to qualify for major tournaments. Tinubu emphasized the need to strengthen governance, administration, stakeholder representation, development pathways, domestic competitions, and accountability in Nigerian football. The reform comes after Vanguard exclusively reported the NFF board's resignation on Thursday.
