Several National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members were abducted on Wednesday along the Aloma-Egane Expressway in Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State. The police confirmed the rescue of 11 victims, including the drivers of the two buses involved. The corps members were travelling from the NYSC orientation camp in Bayelsa State to Abuja when armed men attacked their vehicles. The Kogi State Police Command spokesperson, Saliu Afusat, said security operatives launched a rescue operation immediately after receiving a distress call.
