Former Lagos State Governor Babatunde Fashola has called for a comprehensive approach to tackling Nigeria's insecurity, emphasizing the need to restore respect for law and order and strengthen law enforcement institutions. He spoke at the 12th Triennial National Conference of Jama'at-ul Islamiyya of Nigeria in Lagos. Fashola also stressed the importance of addressing social values that influence citizens' behavior. The conference also launched a centenary school project to promote quality education.
