Abia at 35: Deputy Speaker Kalu Commends Peace, Security, Democratic Gains, Progress Made So Far

Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Okezie Kalu, has congratulated Abia State on its 35th anniversary. Abia was created from the old Imo State on August 27, 1991. Kalu commended the government and people for sustaining peace and strengthening security. He noted that peace and security are critical for development and investment, and praised successive administrations for their contributions.
