A six-year-old girl, Goodness Ekpo Okon, has died after her stepfather, Saviour Otu Adim, allegedly beat her to death over accusations of witchcraft. The incident occurred in Bakassi Local Government Area of Cross River State. The police confirmed the arrest of Adim, 29, following a report filed by Mrs Itoro Udofia. The suspect is in police custody, and the remains of the deceased have been deposited at a mortuary for autopsy.
