A middle-aged man was rescued on Friday after jumping into the water from the British American Bridge in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State. Passers-by raised the alarm and mobilised to pull him out, according to eyewitness Amos Forte. The man appeared to have sustained injuries and was taken to a hospital for medical attention. Security operatives later visited the scene.
