The Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) at Federal Polytechnic Mubi, Adamawa State, has called on the Federal Government to investigate alleged non-remittance of staff pension contributions by the institution's management. The union's chairman, Comrade Kadala Solomon Bandi, made the demand during a press conference in Mubi, urging the Federal Ministry of Education and the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) to conduct a forensic audit and set up a verification panel. Bandi stated that the non-remittance has persisted for up to ten years under successive administrations, violating the Pension Reform Act 2014. He emphasized the need for urgent intervention to address the issue.
