The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has launched a nationwide training programme for its counsellors to standardise treatment and rehabilitation services for individuals with substance use disorders. The first phase, held at the NDLEA Academy in Jos, Plateau State, brought together over 100 counsellors from across the country. NDLEA Chairman Brig. Gen. Buba Marwa (rtd) stated that the initiative aims to strengthen the agency's rehabilitation pillar and ensure evidence-based interventions.
