Dr. Jobson Oseodion Ewalefoh, Director-General of the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC), has stated that Nigeria is now an investment haven for local and foreign capital. He attributed this to recent reforms by the Federal Government that improved the environment for private-sector participation in infrastructure. Ewalefoh noted that Nigeria's infrastructure deficit is estimated at $2.3 trillion, requiring about $100 billion annually to close by 2043. He stressed that Public-Private Partnerships are essential to meet this financing need.
