Meta has announced a new pricing structure for businesses using its WhatsApp Business Platform, effective October 1, 2026. Under the revised system, businesses will be charged per message, with utility messages costing approximately $0.0101 each and marketing messages about $0.062 each. The charges apply to organisations using the WhatsApp Business API for large-scale customer communication, not regular users or small businesses using the standard app. Companies sending high volumes of messages could see significant increases in communication expenses.
