A middle-aged man was rescued on Friday after jumping off the British American Bridge in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State. The incident occurred around 1pm, prompting passers-by to raise an alarm and mobilise a rescue effort. Eyewitness Amos Forte said the man was quickly pulled from the water and appeared to have sustained injuries, after which he was taken for medical attention. Security operatives later visited the scene, according to Forte.
