Liberia's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Lewis G. Brown II, hosted a working lunch for UN Secretary-General António Guterres and the ten elected members of the Security Council (E10) at UN Headquarters in Manhattan. The lunch aimed to align positions ahead of a busy month on the Council's calendar. Liberia, which coordinates both the A3 group of African Council members and the E10, is preparing for its December presidency of the Security Council.
