The Minister for Works, Engr Dave Umahi, announced the closure of the first River Niger bridge for one week. He made this disclosure at Ogbunike in Oyi Local Government Area of Anambra State. The closure is expected to facilitate maintenance or repair works on the bridge. Motorists have been advised to use alternative routes during the period.
