Tinubu orders forensic audit of IPPIS, FG systems over ghost workers, ‘fake agencies’

President Bola Tinubu has ordered a comprehensive forensic audit of Federal Government systems, including the Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System (IPPIS). This decision follows findings on ghost workers, alleged 'fake agencies', and other control weaknesses. The audit aims to establish the nature and extent of weaknesses in the government's control system and how they have been exploited. The directive was announced in a statement by Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
