Family kicks as DSS rearrests Miyetti Allah leader after release from EFCC

Operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) re-arrested the national president of the Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, Bello Bodejo, shortly after his release by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). His family expressed shock over the re-arrest, arguing it was not in line with the rule of law. Bodejo had been granted bail by a Federal High Court in Abuja on July 20 in the sum of ₦2bn over alleged $2.63m money laundering charges. He was first arraigned on July 9 and pleaded not guilty to all charges.
