The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Cross River State Council, has announced the death of journalist Enya Ndem, a correspondent for Ibom Nation Newspaper. Ndem passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2026. The announcement was made in a statement on Friday in Calabar, signed by the Council Secretary, Mike Abang. The union noted that Ndem was a member of the NUJ.
