The Nigerian Army has reported that troops of the Joint Task Force North-East, Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK), dismantled an Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) camp in the Kopre Mountain general area of Hong Local Government Area, Adamawa State. The operation was conducted by a joint force comprising the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) Tactical Team and newly inducted troops of 226 Battalion. According to a statement by Captain Mohammed Goni, the coordinated operation resulted in the killing of at least 21 terrorists, while several others escaped.
