Police in Borno State have allegedly arrested three youths, Salihu Yahaya, Haruna Mohammed, and Muhammed Mallum, for posting on Facebook the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) allocation of Shani Local Government Area. The post claimed the council received N3.11 billion between January and June 2026. Sources say the arrests were made at the instance of the local government chairman. The youths were reportedly taken into custody and threatened.
