SDP Pledges Women Greater Role in Appointments, Elections, Party Affairs

The Social Democratic Party (SDP) has pledged to give women a greater role in party affairs, including political appointments, elections, and decision-making. National Chairman Professor Sadiq Gombe gave the assurance at a strategic meeting with women leaders in Abuja, where women leaders commenced a nationwide mobilisation drive. Gombe, represented by Senator Ugochukwu Uba, said the party is undergoing reforms to strengthen its structures and ensure greater inclusion of women.
