As tributes continue for the late Dolly Parton, AMC Theatres will revive two of her most beloved big-screen appearances this weekend. The chain will screen the 1982 musical 'The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas' and the 1989 dramedy 'Steel Magnolias' at its Broadway theatre in New York City. Parton co-starred with Burt Reynolds in 'Whorehouse', which also featured Jim Nabors, Charles Durning, and Dom DeLuise. The film tells the story of Parton's character, Mona Stangley, a madame at the Chicken Ranch.
