The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has stated that it does not need a coalition of opposition parties to defeat President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election. ADC spokesperson Bolaji Abdullahi expressed confidence that Nigerians are ready for a change of government. While discussions on cooperation with other opposition parties are ongoing, the ADC insists it is not dependent on a coalition for victory. The statement comes amid moves by other opposition figures to form a coalition.
