The Aviation Safety Round Table Initiative (ASRTI) has expressed concern over the continued delay in paying entitlements to over 4,000 former staff of the defunct Nigeria Airways, calling it a grave injustice. Nigeria Airways was liquidated in September 2004. ASRTI noted that despite an announcement by Minister of Aviation Festus Keyamo that President Bola Tinubu had approved the payment, nothing has been done. ASRTI President Air Commodore Ademola Onitiju (retd) called for accountability for those responsible for the delay.
