The Rivers State Police Command has detained some officers in connection with the fatal shooting of a commercial driver in Port Harcourt. The incident occurred on Thursday following an altercation between the driver, Anthony Obodo, and a police officer, which escalated into a scuffle and a gunshot. The bullet struck Obodo, killing him, and two other passers-by were injured. The alleged shooter, Corporal Alfred Louis, was later attacked by an angry mob and sustained multiple injuries, according to police spokesperson ASP Blessing Agabe.
