Gunmen attacked passengers traveling along the Ankpa–Adoka–Makurdi federal highway in Kogi State on Friday evening, killing three people and abducting nine others. The victims were predominantly traders from Ajobe community in Ojoku District, returning from the Nkwo Idoko market in Awo. The incident has raised concerns about security on that route.
