The Gambia Tourism Board (GTBoard) is set to participate in the 2026 Akwaaba Travel Market, scheduled for September 13-15, 2026, in Lagos, Nigeria. The delegation, led by the Minister of Tourism, aims to showcase The Gambia's tourism potential and strengthen business relationships across Africa. Ahead of the main expo, Team Gambia will host a Destination Gambia Promotional Cocktail Reception on September 12, bringing together travel agencies, tour operators, airlines, and other industry stakeholders. This event is expected to provide a strategic platform for The Gambia to engage directly with the African travel trade and promote its tourism products.
