At least 27 people were killed in a head-on collision between a minibus carrying churchgoers and a truck in central Zimbabwe on Friday. The crash occurred near Chivhu, about 140 kilometers south of Harare, when the truck was overtaking another vehicle. Seven people were injured, and both vehicles were carrying an unknown number of passengers. The minibus was charred to a shell, and the truck came to rest on the opposite side of the road. Traffic accidents are common in Zimbabwe due to poor road conditions.
