Stone Rockers Limited, an Abuja-based quarry company, has petitioned President Bola Tinubu, Minister of Solid Minerals Development Dele Alake, and Minister of Interior Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo to investigate the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) over the continued shutdown of its business premises. The premises have been sealed for 13 months allegedly without a lawful court order. In a petition submitted through the Federal Ministry of Solid Minerals Development, the company claimed that operatives of the corps, led by John Onoja Attah, sealed the premises without a court order. During a protest at the ministry, the company's spokesperson, Adeyeye Olugbenga, stated that the firm has suffered losses due to the shutdown.
