Idris Miliki, Executive Director of Conscience for Human Rights and Conflicts Resolution (CHRCR), has called on the Kogi State government to establish a state television station to promote transparency, accountability, and the culture of the people. In a press statement made available to journalists in Lokoja, Miliki noted that previous administrations failed to establish a television station in the state. He also urged the government to review and upgrade social protection programmes and to consider housing development from a commercial investment perspective, as such investments would yield returns and serve as assets for the people.
