Omoyele Sowore, the African Action Congress (AAC) presidential candidate for the 2027 elections, has promised that Nigeria will not miss any FIFA World Cup during his eight-year tenure if elected. He made this statement on Saturday while participating in the 2026 Enugu City International Marathon. Sowore also pledged to develop other sports to compete internationally. He participated in the 10-kilometre race for the second time, citing the event's impressive organization.
