The Lagos State Government plans to deploy 220 additional trucks to improve waste evacuation across the state, according to Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat. He made this announcement on Saturday during the monthly environmental sanitation exercise in Festac. The new trucks will complement the existing Private Sector Participation waste collection system. This move follows an earlier plan by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to acquire 150 compactor trucks for waste management.
