The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has extended the deadline for candidates with outstanding admission offers dating back to 2021 to accept or reject those offers. The new deadline is September 30, 2026, giving affected candidates an additional month to regularize their admission status. JAMB had earlier fixed August 31, 2026, as the deadline. In a statement, JAMB's spokesperson, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, stressed that this would be the final opportunity and warned that no further extension would be granted after September 30. The extension is intended to help the Board clean up its admission records and eliminate uncertainties surrounding unaccepted offers.
