Ladigbolu has called for a Yoruba ethical renaissance to help rebuild Nigeria, linking the values he advocated to the legacy of the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo and other pro-democracy and nationalist figures. He said their lives demonstrated courage, sacrifice, and stewardship. Ladigbolu also stated that the celebration of Fasoranti at 100 was an opportunity to honor the generation of leaders and activists whose sacrifices helped protect Nigeria's democratic tradition.
