Two Nigerians have been extradited to the United States following a lengthy legal process. One of them, Olawale, had his extradition approved after the EFCC initiated proceedings at the Federal High Court in Lagos, following a U.S. request. The court had initially rejected the extradition application in June 2024, but the process was eventually completed. The extradition marks a significant step in international law enforcement cooperation.
