The Edo State Government has issued a transmission and distribution licence to CCETC Ogua Energy Limited for its 100 MW power project. The Commissioner for Power, Hon. Paul Usenbo, presented the certificate in Benin City, expressing confidence that the project will be completed and commissioned before the end of 2026. The first phase is scheduled for completion by the end of July 2026, and the project has met key prerequisites and timelines. Relevant government authorities have provided technical guidance and regulatory support to ensure compliance with required standards.
