The Federal Government has initiated a crackdown on massive energy theft along the 132kV Ikorodu–Sagamu industrial corridor, where unaccounted power losses have reached 100 megawatts, resulting in an estimated annual revenue loss of N120 billion for the electricity market. The Minister of Power, Joseph Tegbe, announced this intervention during a high-level stakeholder meeting with industrial players in the area. The move aims to address the systemic losses and improve power supply reliability.
