The Oodua People's Congress (OPC) has endorsed President Bola Tinubu for a second term in 2027 and vowed to mobilise support for his re-election. The group said it contributed its quota to ensuring Tinubu's victory in 2023 and would do more in the next election. A leader of the OPC stated that one lesson from the late founder, Frederick Fasehun, is that the organisation should regard any Yoruba man in office as OPC's corporate project. The endorsement was announced during a meeting of the group's leaders in Lagos.
