Former Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) president Amaju Pinnick has revealed that sportswear giants Adidas and Puma ended their sponsorship deals with Nigerian football due to the actions of some Nigerians. During an interview on 'The Pinnick Tapes (Remastered): NFF Scandals EXposed', Pinnick recounted receiving a letter from Adidas indicating their departure shortly after he assumed office. He travelled to Zurich to persuade the company's president to reconsider, but his efforts failed. Pinnick's comments shed light on the circumstances behind the loss of these major sponsorships.
