President Bola Tinubu has ordered the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) to reconstruct the Warri-Sapele-Benin road. This intervention comes days after the Minister of Works, David Umahi, gave the China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) a 14-day ultimatum to repair damaged portions of the Benin-Asaba Highway. The directive aims to address infrastructure challenges in the region.
